In another showcase event for our players, we traveled to the home of Premier League Club Norwich City where we played in a round robin series of matches with ECA and Aldershot Town.
This tournament was set up to show the coaches and the recruitment team of Norwich City what talent we have at the U17 age group. They didn’t disappoint, as they played some fantastic free flowing football which overwhelmed both teams on the day.
Although we won 1 and lost 1, the results weren’t what was important. It was the way they applied themselves and shown their professionalism throughout both matches. This was especially picked up by the team at Norwich. With a number of players impressing on the day, we have had some great feedback, and we look forward to working closer with Norwich in the future.
Well done to all those who took part from our Leicester and London sites, and we look forward to our U18/19s taking on Leicester City next week.
