Brooke House College - FSA PRO, Development Friendly

Updated: Aug 1, 2019

The FSA Pro development squad travelled to Brooke House College today in a friendly fixture, in what proved to be a tough afternoon for the boys.

Brooke House came out strong and where dominant on the ball, which FSA struggled to get to grips with. Brooke House then took the lead on the half hour mark through a lapse in concentration from our boys which allowed their number 9 through on goal. FSA then started to gain a bit of momentum and created a few chances, but it was Brooke House who doubled their lead just before half time. 2-0.

FSA knew they had to come out strong in the second half and they pushed forward from the start creating chances and forcing some fantastic saves off the Brooke House keeper, most notably a fantastic reaction stop from the head of Shamir Ali. FSA continued to push but they just couldn’t get the goal they needed and after Brooke House broke forward their number 10 won a penalty and dispatched it very well which gave them a 3-0 lead. Despite a good second half our boys couldn’t quite find what was needed to get back into the game!

Man of the match: Chris Larter

Final Score: 3-0
