FSA stay on track in their title challenge.
FSA Pro travelled to Brooke House College today in a tough league encounter against a good International side. It took a while for the game to settle down today, however it was FSA who took control of the game around the 15 minute mark, moving the ball well and creating chances in front of goal, a bit on composure in the final third we could have had a couple of goals. However Brooke House are a good outfit and they also had spells of moving the ball and getting some joy down our left hand side, causing Kye Simons to make a couple of key saves. But eventually FSA broke the deadlock through a well taken goal from Theo Sjoberg, a calm finish 1v1 into the bottom corner. FSA then took the 1-0 lead into half time.
Again it was a frantic start to the half, but again FSA created chances to score and put the game past Brooke House, however they didn’t take them and Brooke House didn’t go away easily and came with some strong attacks themselves. FSA then got a free kick out wide, and a great delivery by Riley Davoile allowed James March to bring the ball down and finish very well into the top corner. 2-0. But again Brooke House didn’t stop attacking and they managed to get a goal back on the 70 minute mark. FSA then had to show character and determination and that is exactly what they did and it was Jackson Parkin who got the third goal and put the game out of Brooke Houses reach. All in all it wasn’t FSA’s best performance but one they ground out and came away with all 3 points.
Final Score: 1-3
