FSA Pro Cat 2 sides met in a top of the table clash in windy conditions in Leicester as 2A took on 2B.
Both sides adapted to the conditions well and looked to keep the ball down and play as much as possible in an entertaining opening. Cat 2A had the best chances in the first half with Brodie Stewart and Louis Neil looking dangerous out wide. At half time, Cat 2A had edged the play but it remained scoreless.
Cat 2B started the second half better and took the lead with a quick goal in the 46th minute from Louis Pipe, this then allowed the team to grow in confidence. Cat 2B continued to be the better side in the second half with both teams having a couple of chances before the game went into the last 10 minutes.
A nicely taken goal from Sam Pearlberg doubled the lead in the 81st minute and 3 minutes later Filip Sieczo finished the game off to make it 3-0 and continue CAT 2Bs winning run to keep them top of the table.
