Cup campaign get's underway with a six goal win over AFDA.
FSA Pro knew that going into the game a professional and convincing performance both on and off the ball was needed, and they delivered a polished all round performance, scoring 6 goals and keeping a clean sheet.
The lads got off to a fast paced start pressing high up the pitch, and moving the ball well creating good passages of play, however the final ball was lacking at the end of some good possession. It took 20 minutes for FSA to break the dead lock, as Theo Sjoberg was able to get on the end of a fantastic though ball from Harry Sheffield. FSA then controlled the game creating numerous chances and went into the half time break 2 - 0 up.
The second half was much the same from FSA Pro and they where able to add another 4 goals to there tally, and limit the opposition to very few chances. The pick of the goals came from Shamir Ali who came on off the bench and had a great impact on the game, his strike was driven home into the bottom corner from 18 yards. Overall it was a fantastic performance from the boys and a great start to our Cup campaign.
Our next match is Friday 9th, when we take on Milton Keynes College in a friendly fixture, then on the 14th November we are back in league action against Rugby Town FC.
Final score: 6-0
