It’s been a week of great results again for our academy with wins coming in for all ages.
ELITE CENTER
In London our U12/13 boys started the week well with a fantastic 1-0 win against Chelsea FC in the capitol. A great goal from Sean Michael was enough for our boys to win the game in terrible weather conditions. Monday’s win was then followed up with wins for our U10/11s and U12/13s vs USC at our elite centre in Morden.
In Leicester the boys trained hard again in terrible conditions as it snowed just before our session however that didn’t stop over 50 players taking part in this weeks attacking topics.

FSA PRO
Our Leicester scholars had a busy week of games as we had 2 friendlies, a showcase game vs Mansfield Town and a cup game against Sudbury Town with a chance to get into the national Quarterfinals. Our development boys were brilliant as goals from Chris Larter, Louis Bassett & Bakary Mass have us a 3-1 win vs the League 2 teams academy. Wednesday’s great win was then topped off as our boys scored late to beat Sudbury Town 4-3 and book their place in the next round. We now await next weeks draw to see who we will play and if we can go that step further this season as we crashed out of the same cup in the quarter finals last season against Torquay United.
In London our scholars didn’t have a league or cup fixture this week but were dominant in their friendly against Next Generation Academy. A hat trick from Jordan Bridge and a brace from Ayoub Dafallah gave us a welcomed 5-1 victory.

Our scholars will now travel to Aston Villa FC next Wednesday as we look to showcase the best talent from both sites to their scouts.
It’s a week break for our academy next week due to February half term. Our elite centre in Leicester will resume from 24th February and the 25th February for London.
