FSA PRO Leicester Move Closer To Title

FSA PRO Leicester moved a step closer to clinching the CAT 3 title with a convincing victory over third placed Brooke house college.

From the first whistle FSA controlled possession with the game played in the Brooke house half. Jack Burton opened the scoring direct from a corner firing in a cross into the wind to catch out the Brookehouse Goalkeeper.

Denzel Fuzaine doubled the lead volleying in from another corner and Leo Alkan Ryan made it 3-0 shortly after with a curling shot from outside the area.  FSA went 4-0 up on the stroke of half time with Nathan Barhalibirhu putting pressure on the Brooke house centre back and the ball lobbing the goalkeeper into the roof of the net.

With a 4-0 lead at half time the game looked comfortable for FSA until Brooke house caught FSA playing out from the back to pull one back and put the pressure on. FSA responded with 5 goals in 15 minutes from Mohammed Sule, 2 goals from Nathan Barhalibirhu and 2 late goals from Louis White to complete the scoring and end the game with high scoring 9-1 victory.

Some excellent individual performances from the FSA players will see some healthy competition with players pushing to move up to the FSA PRO CAT 2 and CAT 1 sides.

Final score: FSA PRO 9-1 Brooke House

Man of the match: Harry Naylor
