FSA Pro Leicester showed excellent character from going behind to win opening home game against Brooke House.
In blustery conditions FSA PRO started the stronger side controlling possession and looking to create openings in the Brooke House defence. Josh Agbude beat his fullback on a few occasions showing excellent 1 v 1 ability but was unable to find the finishing pass. FSA PRO continued to look untroubled at the back with the wind behind them and the ball spending a majority of the time in the Brooke House half. Lotredge Muterra came close to finding the opening goal after a cross found him at the far post but he was unable to finish from a narrow angle. Just before half time Brooke House put an excellent move together from just inside their own half to play on the counter and take the lead against the run of play.
Playing into the wind in the second half seem to work in FSA PRO favour with the ball holding up in the attacking 3rd allowing more shooting opportunities. Leo Alkan-Ryan levelled the score after showing good composure through on goal after an excellent pass from Jake Warren. Soon after Rizvan Hussain gave FSA PRO a deserved lead after great work from Josh Agbude beating his man and squaring the ball to make the score 2-1. FSA PRO continued to look solid at the back and showed composure on the ball to see out a deserved victory.
Final Score :
