Today we welcomed guests Toronto FC to play in a friendly fixture.

The game started at a fast pace with both teams having early opportunities to break the deadlock. First from a nicely delivered corner from Tyler Luniss headed just over from 8 yards by the combative Jack Harrison. Then minutes later a ball over the top from the visitors created a chance but a brilliant recovery run by Mackenzie Challenor was enough to pressurize Toronto's number 10 to steer the ball wide.
FSA then started to dictate possession moving the ball quickly with minimal touches playing through the thirds of the pitch but the visiting goalkeeper was playing superbly well, denying the impressive Eric Masiri.
But before half time on 40 minutes, another superb delivery from Zack Marriott was met at the far post by Tyler Luniss who made no mistake at the far post - 1-0.
The second half started with TORONTO on the front foot and a period of dominance in possession was limited with chances created, with a well marshalled back four led superbly by Mackenzie Challenor , who was outstanding today in and out of possession.
FSA then seemed to start making better decisions in possession again, instead of holding onto the ball individually too long, the lads played 1,2 touch football with intent and again the visiting goalkeeper making outstanding saves to deny Tyler Luniss, Mike Okerlele and Jack Harrison.
Credit to the visitors who played well today, refusing to give up, and could have snatched a late equaliser on 2 occasions, but all in all a very well deserved victory and reward for an impressive display by FSA.
Final score: FSA PRO - Toronto 1-0
Man of the Match: Mackenzie Challenor
