FSA Scholar Alanta Brown called up to Leicester City Women's First Team

History was made for FSA last weekend as Alanta Brown became our first female player to get a call up to the Leicester City Women’s 1st Team.

Alanta who is now in her second year of studies with FSA PRO and has been training with Leicester City Women's first team squad on and off for the past year, whilst still playing for the LCWFC reserves. She is a very dedicated central midfield who is very composed on the ball, and can dictate a game with her passing range. Alanta works hard everyday in training to make herself as good as she can be, this was rewarded with the recent call up.

"It was a dream come true to be selected in the match day squad, I hope next time I can get some minutes on the pitch and see where it goes from there. During the warm ups I started very nervous as I had never kicked a ball in front of that many people before, but I settled down and appreciated where I was and what I had a achieved” - Alanta Brown

To top it off the game was played at the King Power Stadium vs Manchester United in front of 4,500 spectators. We hope this is a sign of things to come for Alanta, and we will support her in any which way she decides to move forward.

Everybody at Fox Soccer Academy wishes you the very best Alanta!
