FSA London opened their Cat 2 season with a dominant 8–1 victory over Kinetic Yellow in what turned out to be a one-sided encounter, with Mohamed Benzahi standing out as the Man of the Match for his superb performance.

The match got off to a sensational start with a stunning strike from Joshua Arthur. After a brilliant piece of individual play, Arthur unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, volleying it into the top left corner, a goal that could easily be a contender for Goal of the Season.

FSA doubled their lead shortly after. A well-timed through ball found Danis Devanand in space, and he finished expertly with a low-driven shot into the bottom corner, a composed finish.

Abdul Alazzawi made it three with a goal that capped off a stunning team move. A delightful cross from Lwanga found Alazzawi at the back post, and he executed a perfect Rabona finish to extend the lead.

Kinetic Yellow grabbed a lifeline almost immediately after Alazzawi’s wonder strike. A lapse in concentration from FSA allowed Kinetic to capitalise and pull one back.

FSA restored their three-goal advantage before the break. A dangerous delivery from Benzahi caused all sorts of problems for the Kinetic defence, and under pressure, a defender turned the ball into his own net.

FSA continued to run riot in the second half, with Devanand adding his second of the day. After a quick counterattack, he was again on hand to finish with precision, slotting the ball past the keeper.

Benzahi got on the scoresheet next, scoring a well-taken goal of his own. Picking up possession outside the box, he showed great composure to bypass the Kinetic defenders and slot home for FSA’s sixth.

Moments later, Samuel Batista made it seven with a dazzling individual effort. Batista danced around Kinetic defenders with ease before calmly slotting the ball past the keeper.

The final goal came late on, with Harry Theodorou sealing the win. A superb ball from Butler was whipped into the box, and Theodorou rose highest to head home, the icing on the cake of a dominant performance.
