Leeds United - FSA PRO (Cat. 2)

FSA continue winning start in cat 2 with a deserved victory away to Leeds United.

After a slow start the game finally kickstarted into life with 2 quick chances at either end Leeds United headed wide from a free header inside the box after a fine cross and Kyle Bennett had seen a last minute tackle deny him an opener after excellent work from Louie Bassett.

Both sides lacked a cutting edge until in the 28th minute Shamir Ali cut in from the left to beat 2 players and finish across the goalkeeper into the far bottom corner.

Soon after Ellis Deacon hit the post after some good link up play involving Mike Akinde put Ellis through to beat the keeper but was denied by the post. Half time score 0-1.

FSA started the second half brighter with the 3 half time changes making a positive impact on the game making better decisions on the ball which created more chances for the team. On the 55th minute a superb run from full back Mustafa doubled the lead firing in a cross to find Jack Harrison timing his run well unmarked to fire home from inside the area.

Tyler Lunnis made the game comfortable after a through ball from Michael Akinde found Tyler through on goal to finish well into the far corner giving the Leeds United goalkeeper no chance making the score 0-3.

Leeds continued to play a direct style of play and with some hesitation in the FSA defense pulled a goal back with less than 10 minutes left to play. That seemed to be the last chance FSA allowed as the ball spent the closing stages in the attacking half and FSA finished the game in the ascendancy.

Overall despite never really hitting top gear throughout the match FSA definitely showed improvement in the second half and deservedly won the match.

Final score: Leeds United - FSA PRO 1-3

Man of the Match: Louie Bassett
