FSA PRO beat Solihull College in the first league game of the season.

After a fantastic pre season from the pro boys, and on a winning streak, the boys travelled to Solihull College for the opening game of the season. FSA Pro controlled the game from the outset and moved the ball well through the thirds, forcing the solihull GK into action early on from a Cory Holdom strike, however after 20 minutes FSA broke the dead lock as Riley Davoile went through 1 on 1 and chipped the ball over the keeper and into the bottom corner. 1 - 0 FSA Pro.
FSA continued to control the game however after a long ball down the pitch, Solihull got an equalizer and leveled the game, 1 - 1. Although it took FSA by surprise they continued to move the ball well and create chances, however couldn’t take the lead before the half time whistle. Much the same was needed in the second half, however FSA must be more clinical in front of goal.
After the break FSA came out on the front foot and won a free kick in a dangerous crossing position, Riley Davoile stood over the ball and delivered a peach for Lewis White to head home, making it 2 - 1 to FSA (video below).
Once taking the lead FSA continued to push forward creating chance after chance, eventually sealing the win with a 80th minute goal from Bakary Mass. Full time score 3 - 1 for FSA PRO.
Overall it was a great start to the CAT 1 season for FSA Pro, and we look forward to next week when we take on Loughborough College at home.
Man of the Match: Riley Davoile
