It was another good week for our academies on the pitch with 3 wins and 1 loss.
Our Leicester scholars won both of their games comfortably as they beat Long Eaton in the league 8-0 and Tresham College 13-1 in a development game.
Our London scholars suffered a cruel 3-1 loss to Aldershot FC in the cat 1 but bounced back fantastic to a 7-1 win against Pro Direct South London Academy in the cat 2.
A special shout out to Beckray Enoru scoring a double hat trick on Wednesday.
It’s also been confirmed that our scholars will travel to Malaga for their end of season tour to play the Spanish side again this season along with some development games. Over 50 scholars will travel with us which will be a fantastic opportunity for them and our coaches.
There hasn’t been any games this week for our elite centres as they concentrated on attacking topics. We have 2 full weeks of training at each centre in London and Leicester as we look to wrap up 2019. Our staff are working hard to confirm games and opportunities for early next year so watch this space.
There also a special mention to our founder of Fox Soccer Academy who I’m sure you will all agree played an outstanding game vs Watford FC this weekend, great to see him back in action and I’m sure we will see more over the busy Christmas period.
