It was time to put things right for our London scholars as they faced the F2 Academy in a
friendly.
Both teams started the game very nervously with chances at both end to take the lead however it was our scholars who started to show real quality on the ball.
As the game reached 15 minutes the ball finally hit the back of the net as some great buildup play from out wide was calmly headed home by Clinton Omoregie to give us the lead. Our scholars then lifted in confidence and 1-0 quickly became 2-0 as Manfous VIdoly slotted home from 10 yards and doubled our lead.There was some fantastic football being played but the score stayed the same up until the half time break.
Our scholars started the second half quite slowly and was soon punished as an effort from the away team hit the bar and then was slotted home on the second attempt making it 2-1.
The away goal certainly had an impact on the game as subs were made and suddenly our scholars started to play with a lot more passion and pride. We then scored the third goal in the game as Christian Amankwa headed home from a corner. 3 then became 4 as Ayoub Dafallah found space on the left wing and slammed the ball into the top right corner to make it 4-1.
Our scholars wrapped the game up with a late penalty, taken and scored by Kheireddine Guemmane.
