A Return to Winning Ways as FSA PRO CAT 2 London beat Avaley FC

A patient and resilient performance saw FSA take away the win in a 4-0 win.

FSA PRO London started the game well immediately, creating a chance almost instantly from kick off, a close range shot from Romeo Rowe was saved a near ping blank range from the Avaley FC goalkeeper. FSA then continued to try and create but found it hard to find any clear cut chances.

It was deep into the first half when FSA looked to have finally broken the deadlock with Mauricio Gil Bejarano entered the box with the ball bouncing invitingly only to spur the opportunity over the crossbar. It was a positive move which encouraged more from FSA. However, it wasn’t until the 45th minute when a corner from Lee Quincey was met by Redor Omar and head into the goal to take the lead into half time.

The half time team talk from Jacques Michell and Mark Smith was filled with encouragement and purpose. FSA took the message on board and started to ask more questions of the Avaley defence. Substitute Dominic Fisher had an immediate impact winning a penalty in the 71st minute which was then converted by Lee Quincey.

Two more goals followed as Avaley started chasing the game. The first scored by Will Manning who managed to chip the oncoming goalkeeper after a good pass from Marcus Anwar. The final goal was another penalty this time Marcus Anwar took on the responsibility and delivered in the 86th minute to finish the game off.

The first points on the board in the ECFA CAT 2 for FSA PRO LONDON as they look forward to their next challenge.
