Cat 2 London Remain On Course

FSA PRO Cat 2 London continue in their pursuit of gold as they remain top of the league after another victory in the capital.

FSA PRO started strong as they looked for an early goal. Early chances fell for Mark Soares, Dom Fisher, Cameron Ashia and Errikos Biniakou but after 15 minutes it was still scoreless. On 17 minutes the deadline was finally broken as Cameron Ashia's low shot found its way past the Next Gen goalkeeper to give FSA a deserved lead. Chances continued to fall for FSA PRO but they couldn't extend their lead. On the 37th minute Mark Soares low curled shot couldn't be saved and FSA finally made it 2-0. The advantaged was halved just minutes before the break as Next Gen were awarded a penalty and the visitors smashed home to make it 2-1 at half time.

FSA introduced George Hughes at the half time break who had an immediate impact. Hughes set up Soares on the 55th minute for his second of the game and FSA's third. It was Hughes again who stepped up to make it four as Soares returned the favour with a great lobbed cross, headed home by Hughes to give FSA a 4-1 win and a deserved 3 points.
