CAT 1 Leicester are through to the 4th round of the ECFA National Cup, with a professional victory over Evesham United.
It was a dominant display against an Evesham side that never gave up and where resilient until the end, but after an early goal on 9 minutes, FSA turned on the style and played some brilliant football. It was 3-0 after 18 minutes, the third goal being the standout goal, after a 21-pass move, won a penally that was converted by Aaron Nuttall. At the halfway point FSA Leicester led 4-0.
The 2nd half continued in the same manor, and FSA continued to create chance after chance. A string of fine saves managed to keep Evesham with a gillmer of hope. Eventually FSA managed to get a 5th through Sam Carroll and soon after a 6th followed after Toby Clauss capitalised on a Will Warren power shot.
It was a very professional display from our boys, and they now look forward to the 4th round before the Christmas break.
