FSA PRO Leicester make it 3 in 3 with latest Cat One Win

FSA PRO Leicester made it three wins from three in the ECFA Cat 1 league with an impressive victory against a tough side in Football CV.


FSA got off to a flyer and created numerous early chances with no luck in the final third. Despite this wasted chances, FSA Leicester continued to dominante and managed to get themselves in front after just 15 minutes as winger Cole McNulty who has started the season very brightly beat his fullback and picked his head up to find striker Jordan Hudson, who slotted home with his left foot. It didn’t take long after the first goal before FSA doubled the lead after constant pressure from FSA, midfielder Evan Kane pinched the ball off of a slow back and rounded the keeper to make it 2-0 after only 17 minutes.

The goal flurry didn’t stop there as just 5 minutes later FSA got there third in quick succession as winger Thai Worapas again beat his fullback and delivered a low ball to striker Jordan Hudson who again curled one in off the post and make it 3 for FSA and his second in the game. As half time approached FSA created more great chances but couldn’t find the fourth as the game finished 3-0 at the break.

FSA come out looking like a shadow of themselves in the first half with some sloppy passes and a lack of tempo. The visitors capitalised on this and manage to get a goal back in the 56th minute after a loose ball in the box was met by the opposition and calmly finished to make it 3-1. With FSA still struggling to get going in this second half, Football CV showed no sign of stopping the fight back and in the 64th minute their period of dominance was rewarded with another goal to makes the score 3-2 and make it a very interesting game with 25 minutes to play.

FSA made immediate change try add more energy into the game and managed to get a foothold back in the game. With the game closing out substitute Lotreadge  Muteera chased an over the top through ball and found himself in the box and was brought down by the oppositions CB resulting in a penalty and a chance to wrap up the game. The penalty was converted by midfielder Evan Kane and secured FSA a very good home win against a brave side in Football CV.
