Goals: Chad Chawanda, Abdul

FSA kicked off shooting from left to right in what proved to be a hearty and competitive affair. They started brightly, forcing Chelsea Foundation to sit deep and look to counter over the top. FSA were in full control for the opening 20 minutes, dictating the tempo and causing Chelsea Foundation all sorts of problems.

That early dominance was rewarded inside the half-hour mark. Neil found Josh Arthur, who produced a superb first touch into space before slipping CJ through on goal. CJ showed great composure to calmly round the goalkeeper and slot home, giving FSA a deserved lead.

The goal acted as a wake-up call for Chelsea Foundation, who gradually grew into the contest despite falling behind. Their response paid off five minutes before the break when their number nine met a well-delivered cross from the left to equalise.

Half-Time: FSA PRO London 1-1 Chelsea Foundation

The second half saw FSA once again take control, dominating possession and pushing Chelsea Foundation back. The hosts’ task became even tougher when their right-back was shown a second yellow card for handball, reducing Chelsea Foundation to ten men.

With the man advantage, FSA controlled the tempo and enjoyed the majority of the ball as Chelsea Foundation dropped into a compact defensive shape. Despite the extra player, FSA initially found it difficult to break down a resilient back line.

The breakthrough finally came just under fifteen minutes from time. After a half chance, the ball escaped the Chelsea Foundation box and fell to Abdul, who showed excellent composure to set himself before slotting a low finish into the bottom right corner.

FSA managed the closing stages well to see out the win, despite a few late half chances for Chelsea Foundation.
