FSA PRO London Hit Seven Past Buckswood

In a high-stakes league clash, Fox Soccer Academy London (FSA PRO) faced off against Buckswood College in an exhilarating encounter.

The previous league results had set the stage for an intense matchup, as FSA PRO was coming off a 2-2 draw against Newman College and a 3-2 defeat to Worthing FC as they looked for their first Cat One win of the season.

From the first whistle, FSA PRO displayed their determination to bounce back from recent results. The match began with a flurry of action, and it didn't take long for FSA PRO to establish their dominance. In the 16th minute, Miller McDonald opened the scoring for FSA PRO, unleashing a powerful strike into the roof of the net, assisted by George Hughes. The early goal set the tone for the match and put Buckswood College on the back foot. Just four minutes later, FSA PRO doubled their lead. Oliver Coonan delivered a remarkable pass to winger Sonny Cooper, who displayed composure by slotting the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper. FSA PRO now held a commanding 2-0 advantage.


With 35 minutes on the clock, FSA PRO continued their attacking prowess. Charlie Bland executed a marvellous switch of play, finding full-back Marvin Frimpong, who delivered a perfectly executed cross into the path of striker George Hughes. Hughes displayed his quality, slotting the ball into the net with a clinical volley, extending FSA PRO's lead to 3-0. In the 42nd minute, FSA PRO added another to their tally. Miller McDonald showcased his skill by beating his marker and delivering a low cross across the six-yard box. Charlie Bland was in the right place at the right time, tapping the ball home to make it 4-0. Buckswood College managed to pull one back early in the second half, showing signs of life with a goal to make it 4-1. Just before this, they had a goal ruled out for a tight offside decision.


Despite the brief resurgence from Buckswood College, FSA PRO maintained their composure and regained control. In the 74th minute, Sonny Cooper raced down the right wing before delivering a precise cross to the in-form George Hughes, who slotted home for his second goal of the match, making it 5-1.

Miller McDonald, who was instrumental throughout the game, sealed his standout performance with another goal. In the 80th minute, he found space outside the box and unleashed a left-footed rocket into the top left corner, extending the lead to 6-1. The match concluded in style, as George Hughes completed his hat-trick in the 84th minute, capping off a masterclass performance by FSA PRO. The final score stood at an emphatic 7-1 in favour of Fox Soccer Academy London.


This impressive victory not only showcased FSA PRO's attacking ability but also demonstrated their resilience and determination to secure three vital points in the league. With their sights set on the next fixture against Newman College on November 1st, FSA PRO looks to maintain their momentum and continue their quest for success in the ECFA Men's CAT 1 League.
