Goals: Josh Arthur (2), Bobby Davies, Sean Michael

Royal Russell started strongly, creating danger just 1 minute and 40 seconds in with a ball across goal, though nothing came of it. FSA quickly responded less than two minutes later. A free kick was won thanks to a smart offside trap. Evan Cozzone delivered a perfectly lofted ball over the Royal Russell back line, finding Josh Arthur, who delicately lifted the ball over the advancing keeper to make it 1-0.

Five minutes later, following an inswinging corner, Evan Cozzone’s half-volley effort was blocked amid shouts for handball, but the referee waved play on. In the 21st minute, FSA won back-to-back corners. The second delivery was controlled by Evan Cozzone, who lofted the ball into the area for an unmarked Bobby Davies to head home and double the lead. 2-0.

The remainder of the half was evenly contested, with both sides sharing possession and half-chances, though neither side truly asserted dominance.

Half-time: FSA 2-0 Royal Russell

At half-time, Cruz was replaced by Sonny, with Mohamed moving to left wing-back. Royal Russell began the second half strongly, creating pressure and forcing the FSA back line into action. In the 50th minute, Josh Arthur was substituted off for Charlie.

Just four minutes later, Charlie received the ball in the half-space, turned, and found Sean-Michael. Sean cleverly faked a pass to Sonny, sold two defenders, and calmly finished into the bottom-right corner to extend the lead to 3-0.

In the 57th minute, Sean was forced off due to injury, replaced by Danis. Ten minutes later, Royal Russell capitalised on a free kick from just outside the 18-yard box. The delivery was left untouched by both defenders and attackers, creeping into the FSA net for 3-1. Royal Russell increased the tempo and applied sustained pressure.

In the 75th minute, Cameron was forced off injured. Josh re-entered up front, with Danis moving into goal. With 10 minutes of stoppage time, FSA sealed the game. Josh Arthur pressed a poor back pass to the Royal Russell keeper. The attempted clearance deflected off Josh, leaving him one-on-one with an empty net to make it 4-1.

FSA managed the closing stages effectively, settling into a mid-block to see the game out.
