Yesterday, at the South Of Wales University, Fox Soccer Academy London and Fox Soccer Academy Leicester traveled to take part in a University showcase tournament.
The goal was for the boys to show their skills and learn about university life. South Of Wales University is known for its sports education and football opportunities, making it a great place for athletes. The scholars got to ask questions about university life, courses, and future opportunities. They also learned about coaching in the USA, which is open to even Level 1 coaches this summer and beyond, another great opportunity and experience for the student players. The tournament had 6 teams: Fox Soccer Academy London, Fox Soccer Academy Leicester, Precision, Merthyr, WCS, and Coleg Gwent.
FSA PRO London won the USW Performance Trophy in the final, winning on penalties. The champions didn't lose a games and only let in one goal through the event. During the day our academies battled out an exciting draw as FSA PRO Leicester and London locked horns. A fantastic event was a success both on the football field and in providing information for the scholars' future after Fox Soccer Academy. We look forward to continuing our partnership with USW and hopefully defending the trophy next season.
