Hastings began the second half on the front foot, pressing FSA high and forcing them to defend deep for the opening 15 minutes. However, FSA gradually regained their composure and started to dictate play once again. Their patience paid off in the 67th minute when Sonny Cooper opened the scoring, finishing confidently from a pinpoint cross by Dooho to put FSA 1–0 up.
Hastings pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but goalkeeper Camron Kinney produced several vital saves to preserve FSA’s lead. The visitors continued to move the ball well and doubled their advantage in the 75th minute. A perfectly weighted through ball from Joseph Matassa found Danis, who showed great composure to curl his finish around the keeper and make it 2–0.
From there, FSA took full control of the game as Hastings struggled to mount a response. The result was sealed in the 90th minute when FSA were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box. Up stepped Sonny Cooper, who smashed the ball into the top corner to score his second of the match and secure a commanding 3–0 victory.
